Dragon Form

As he informs Yoki, Zera created him in the shape of the Dragon shrine statue, which he peculiarly liked (and the Dragon still feels somehow bound to this statue).

Story[]

Zera created him out of energy, along with other dragons, in order to confront Yoki - actually to be defeated by her, since Zera knew she would win and did that only to prepare her for a greater menace.

During the fight, he received Yoki's magic (the one she uses to appease BEAST-Types). Besides being calmed down by it, he absorbed its energy. While he was only supposed to fight with Yoki and had no more vital energy than he needed to do so, this "extra" energy he received permitted him to live longer. It seems he could also think for himself after this, instead of being a non-autonomous creature controlled by Zera. However, after being defeated by Yoki, he had no longer purpose, and his longer life was to be wasted if he didn't find another. So he decided to voice his resentment and take revenge on Zera for having created him only to be defeated.

Trivia[]

  • The Dragon is very close to the one appearing in Dwellers of the Mountain's Forest, in which he not only fights Yoki, but also seems to have been created by Zera. Even though it is stated by Temmie Chang that this animation does not take place in the same timeline than Dweller's Empty Path, his story is indeed very similar in both of them.
