Appearance[]
The Prince is an Origin-Type with short blonde hair. He wears fancy royal clothes- a collared red cape with white edges, grey gloves, a blue blazer(? Not sure) and a white shirt underneath. He also has a habit of opening only his left eye.
Personality[]
The Prince acts in a cold, aloof and stern manner. Being the ruler of the kingdom, he is a very busy hard worker and will not tolerate idle chatter with others while he is trying to work. He will stay up late and refuse to eat to finish his work. He acts flustered and angry when people pity him, an example being when Yoki tells him that he is actually lonely. The Prince is probably acting coldly because he feels he has to, and is pressured to live up to his parents' reputation. He doesn't want to let his people down. He holds a grudge against BEAST-types because his parents were killed by one. He also likes to document many things in his journal.
Relationships[]
Yoki[]
The Prince is suspicious of Yoki and considers her to be very dangerous. Although he acts coldly to her, he talks to her more than other people. When Yoki admits that she came to visit him just to chat after having a bad dream, he mocks her, asking if she wants him to read a bed-time story or fetch a glass of warm milk. The Prince also threatens Yoki, saying he only allows her to live in peace if she follows his orders. Despite his behavior towards her, The Prince respects and likely cares about Yoki. He was responsible for the agreement that was made to release her from prison despite the stigma around BEAST-type like people, and always lets her off the hook even if she fails to eliminate a target. He also tolerates the fact that Yoki is harboring Claire despite Witchcraft being an illegal practice. Yoki claims that he's lightened up since she met him.
High Knight[]
The Prince has a great amount of trust in the High Knight, as they grew up together. She consoled the Prince when the King and Queen passed away, giving him the confidence to ascend to the throne. She is stated to be in some ways, "the Prince's confidence" She follows the Prince's ideas closely, saying if the Prince has his faith in Yoki, then so does she.
King and Queen[]
The King and Queen are the Prince's parents. He mourns their deaths. His parents were very good rulers, so the Prince is pressured to live up to their legacies. He does not want to let down his parents' hopes and expectations for him.
Subjects[]
The Prince is not very popular with his subjects because he does not act with consideration towards them. He is very stern and harsh with people with the exception of Yoki and the High Knight. Many subjects and soldiers have unkind things to say about him. The prince appears to be oblivious to this fact because nobody has the heart to tell him, and he does not believe Yoki.
Trivia[]
- The Prince's favourite meal is stuffed peppers, with some baked clams as an appetizer.
- Its recipe is even given by one of the chefs, and is: "Onions, mushrooms, chopped up garlic cloves, ground beef, and tomatoes, Seasoned with some salt, pepper, and thyme… All cooked and stuffed into a pepper, and placed into the oven…"
- He prefers to be called the "Prince", despite technically being the king. It is also indicative of how his subjects see him, as only the son of the previous King and Queen rather than as a King himself.
